Applications
Pearlitic nodular cast iron alloyed with NiCrMo, used as a finisher for large profiles in continuous trains and both reversible and continuous universal cages.
For bar trains and medium-small profiles, this type of cast iron is employed in intermediate and finisher cages.
It can also be commonly used in straightening cages for large profiles.
Due to its high wear resistance characteristics, this type of cast iron represents the step immediately preceding the use of acicular cast irons while maintaining superior resistance to fire cracks.
