Applications

Pearlitic nodular cast iron with a high percentage of molybdenum, which provides high resistance to fire cracks.

It is commonly used in preparing cages for special steels and stainless steel, where excessive cooling cannot be applied due to the characteristics of the rolled material, effectively countering the "orange peel" phenomenon.

The characteristic of this type of cast iron to resist the formation of fire cracks makes it particularly suitable for use in slitting cages.

The excellent flexural strength of this type of cast iron makes it particularly suitable for use in the vertical rings of universal cages, in case of breakage issues.
