Applications

Nodular cast iron with NiMo alloy structure, with extremely high resistance to hot cracking.

Normally used in the first cages of continuous roughing trains with speeds equal to or less than 0.1 m/min and consequent cooling difficulties.

This type of cast iron is also used in cases where it is necessary to attenuate the "orange peel" phenomenon (high-quality or stainless steels), representing a valid compromise between wear, mechanical resistance, and surface appearance of the rolled product.
