Applications
Nodular iron with an acicular structure and free cementite bound to NiCrMo with a significant molybdenum content, which gives the material high resistance to fire cracks.
It is commonly used on finishing cages for special steels and stainless steel, where excessive cooling cannot be applied due to the characteristics of the laminate.
The particular alloy of this nodular iron makes it highly effective in countering the "orange peel" phenomenon.
