Applications
Nodular iron with an acicular structure and free cementite bound to NiCrMo.
Particularly suitable for finishing cages of small and medium-sized profiles but widely used also in preparatory cages where cooling issues do not exist.
The wide range of hardness allowed allows for optimization of the use of this nodular iron on a very large scale.
It is not uncommon, under optimal operating conditions, to use it even on intermediate trains and straightening cages for medium-small profiles.
